Farm History
The first time my husband, Wayne, and I walked onto the farm,
which we now call Light Expression Farm, we both knew at once
that it would be our family's new home. We were strongly guided
to this Farm and neither of us had any doubts that this was where
we were to live. We saw this place for the first time in early
1989, and we had completed our move by August of that same year.
The entire process of getting from downtown Atlanta, Georgia to
our Farm in rural Virginia felt as if we were being carried on
the wings of Spirit - everything fell into place so easily. Even
the first four months or so of living here felt easy. After that
period, our real work was to begin.
Besides the obvious task of having to assist our son, Avery,
with his adjustment from city life to country life, every other
aspect of our lives was also to change. Through the next year
or so there was so much transformation in our lives that even
now it's hard to recall all of the details. The one thing that
has always remained constant for me is the deep feeling that in
some form this Farm would become a retreat for people to visit
who wished to experience their connection to Nature. Exactly what
the Farm was wishing to become and how we would interact with
it was not always clear. However, I did always feel that we would
act as "Hosts" to all who wish to come here, enjoy the Farm's
energy, and learn more about Nature.
As the years have unfolded, and my ability to communicate with
Nature has become more clear, I now have a much better idea of
what Light Expression Farm wishes to become. Some of its intention
is to be the home of Light Expression Essences; another aspect
of its intention is to become a super organic vegetable farm;
still beyond that, it wishes to be a retreat for weary souls,
as well as a place of learning and sharing.
Much work has been accomplished here at the farm to balance the
land and release the negative energy that had been stored in the
land from all years past. Once Light Expression Essences were
birthed, their assistance in cleansing and balancing the land
became invaluable.
As a result of my learning and understanding more about our
connection to Nature, my life has become dedicated to sharing
this knowledge with others. Our lives and the Nature community
at the Light Expression Farm always feels most fulfilled when
others are here sharing the joy and experiencing the energy of
this land. As the years progress, our wishes are for there to
be Guest Quarters in which people may stay while they join us
in learning more about Nature. The Guest facilities will also
provide a place for people to come and simply rest -- and regroup.
Nature pushed Wayne and I to build a permanent office building
to house Light Expression Essences. For us, this is an exciting
adventure for which we feel blessed to have been asked to take
part. Our hopes are that all who feel as guided as we were to
learn more about Nature will join us for the many workshops that
will be provided regularly here at Light Expression Farm.
